Grant Eligibility

Tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, independent of a financial sponsor (local affiliates may apply under the 501(c)(3) of the national organization).
Located in and serve residents of the counties in the greater Impact100 Hunterdon area
Past Impact100 Hunterdon grantees must wait 5 years from the date of their award before re-applying.
In possession of at least three full years (36 months) of independently prepared, audited, or reviewed financial statements.
Have annual operating budgets above $500,000 and below $5,000,000.

In years where the amount raised allows, we may add a “Small and New” Category with the following criteria:

Tax exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, independent of a financial sponsor (local affiliates may apply under the 501(c)(3) of the national organization).
Located in and serve residents of the counties in the Hunterdon area
Past Impact100 Hunterdon grantees must wait 5 years from the date of their award before re-applying.
Operated for less than 3 years as of May 31st, 2021 and / or have annual operating budget below $250,000.
In possession of at least one full year (12 months) of independently prepared, audited, or reviewed financial statements.

Debt reduction, operating deficits, interim or bridge funding, or endowment funding.
Individuals or private foundations.
Activities that are religious or political in nature.
Fund drives, annual appeals, fundraising events, or general capital campaigns.
Funding proposals that utilize less than the full grant award.
